Spotify playlist: Work 01

cover art
Unless you have been living under a rock lately, you probably have Spotify already. So here is my first playlist, specially made for working! It’s a nice mix of ambient and bordering genres, to put your head in the right place for churning out awesomeness from your brain, whatever your profession. At least it works like a charm for me!

Click here to load it up in your Spotify player! And tell me what you think in the comments…

“Iko iko”

iko iko

I just finished up an edit slash remix I did of “Iko iko“, an old folk tune usually sung during Mardi Gras, later made into a pop song, and thus covered by artists throughout the 20th century. My version is based on the 90’s version by the Belle stars(used in the soundtrack for Rain man), I took out an awful saxophone from it, put in some modern synths and played around with the arrangement, making it more DJ-friendly. Have a listen to those drums!

It’s a free download, so get’em while you can.

Horray, a new free mixtape!

Hey, I just finished my new mixtape, called The Audit. I’ll let the music speak for itself on this one, so have a listen, and holler out in the comments if you can dig (or cannot).
The tape will be available on Soundcloud for a limited time though, but I’ll keep the download link active for as long as I can. So yeah, click here to download, y’all.

Free track: Singsiri

Last night was spent Djing at Opera for the dancing general public of Bergen. I felt especially inspired in the time period between my dinner and leaving to play yesterday, so this time was naturally spent making a new track.

I played the track to the people at the party and they went nuts, so I’ll take that as a vote of confidence. This morning I cleaned it up and added some better elements, have a listen, won’t you? In exchange for the song, I only ask to be able to put you on my mailing list, so you’ll get new stuff in the future, too.  Deal?

EDIT: The track Singsiri has been released in a new and better suit, head over to the music page to listen and download!
